A Multi-Bureau Check verifies an individual’s identity details against trusted data sources to help confirm their identity and strengthen identity assurance.
This type of verification is also commonly referred to as a database check, electronic identity verification (eIDV), bureau check, or non-documentary identity verification.
ComplyCube may verify identity details against sources such as:
- Credit bureaus and credit agencies
- Government authorities and public records
- Consumer and commercial databases
- Utility and telecommunications records
- Postal and address databases
- Proprietary and specialist data sources
By default, a Multi-Bureau Check verifies a client’s name and at least one additional identity attribute.
For higher assurance requirements, ComplyCube also supports a 2+2 verification model, where at leas two identity attributes are verified across two or more independent sources.
Multi-Bureau Checks are commonly used for customer onboarding, account opening, KYC compliance, address verification, and fraud prevention.
