ComplyCube provides flexible data retention and deletion controls to help organisations meet privacy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Customer data is retained according to your organisation’s configured retention policy. You can request deletion of individual client records through the ComplyCube Web Portal or API, or configure automated deletion based on your preferred retention period.
As a data processor, ComplyCube helps customers comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including requests for data deletion, erasure, and other data subject rights, where legally applicable and instructed by the data controller.
When a deletion request is initiated, a configurable Safety Delay period applies, allowing the request to be cancelled if made in error. Once the Safety Delay expires, the data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Deleted data may include documents, photos, videos, checks, cases, comments, reports, metadata, and related associations. Audit trails are retained for compliance, security, and record-keeping purposes.
